STAR (Straits Times Appreciates Readers) concert is a concert to celebrate the Straits Times 167th birthday. This concert held at The Meadow (Garden by the Bay) on 15 July 2012.

- Boys Like Girls
Four man American pop-punk band from Massachusetts counts among its hits Love Drunk and Two Is Better Than One, featuring Taylor Swift. It's third album Crazy World released on July 17.
- Taufik Batisah
Winner of the first Singapore Idol in 2004. His first album sold over 20.000 copies within 20 days of its release.
- Hady Mirza
Crowned Singapore Idol in 2006 and Asian Idol a year later. His self-titled debut sold over 10.000 copies in four days.
- Tanya Chua
The home-grown singer-songwriter has cut more than 10 English and Mandarin albums, and penned tracks for Stefanie Sun and Faye Wong. She is the first singer to be named Best Female Singer at the Taiwan Golden Melody Awards three times.
- Juz-B
This all-Malay local a capella group specialises in Mandarin songs.
- 4Minute
Formed in 2009, the five member South Korean girl group is known for its dance moves and pop infused beats. It's member (Ji Hyun, Gayoon, Ji Yoon, Hyuna and So Hyun), aged between 17 and 22, have garnered a strong following in Singapore.
